I recently bought a 1999 XJ limited that had some front end damage the bash bar was crushed but nothing else was hit, the previous owner told me it needs a new headlight switch. Replaced headlight switch and noticed the green wire was burned and then the wire was cleaned off and fixed yet headlights dont work but day time running lights still work like always. Would like some help Thank you in advance ( jeep newbie )

 

Start looking in the "bashed" area for a crushed/crimped wiring harness.
