Your were right *****, this past week, both low beams blew out at the same time. How odd is that!?

This is with the aftermarket headlight wiring upgrade and the bulbs were only about two months old. Now I replaced the bulbs with lower wattage to see if I can get more life out of them.

Any ideas why this would happen or how to prevent it from happening again?

I'm going to add another relay and driving lights soon so that I have a "backup low beams" to use.

Possible there was a serge in the power and just over powered, causing both lights to blow. Do you happen have any fuses wired in for that?

I have a similar setup as yours and I had a loose relay that would surge when it was jarred and cause the lights to go out or on. The Shori relay is near impossible to find so the dealer sent me a spare. Does anyone have a source for that little relay?

Yes, there is a 20 amp fuse inline. It did not blow out, just the two bulbs.

I have my relays mounted in a vertical position. Is it possible that it is jolted on and off from being this way causing the surge that your describing?

If I mount them in a horizontal orientation, do you think that this would solve my issue?
