I ran across the same problem a lot of others have had with the piggy back for the headlight switch melting, and I have a new one on order, but in the mean time I need to be able to drive. I have my headlights wired up for now through a 30amp fuse and a toggle switch, but I can not figure out which wire controls the tail lights. Does anyone have any ideas as to what wires running into the headlight switch control what?

 

Looking at the wiring diagrams is the black and yellow wire,is feed to various fuses and then to the lights.
