Default Headlight Switch Gauge / Instrument / Dimmer light Issue

I just had to replace my headlight switch due to the **** coming straight out. Now I have no gauge / instrument lights or dimmer option.

When I pull the headlight switch **** out two clicks the head lights, brake lights and turn signals all work. The dome lights still work in the car. But no gauge / instrument lights or dimmer option.

However, when I pull the **** out 1 click there are no running/aux lights. The dome lights, brake lights and turn signals still work in the car. But again, no gauge / instrument lights or dimmer option.

I have checked all of the fuses and they are good. I tried a different brand headlight switch and I have the same problem.

I am able to get the gauge lights to blink when I lock my car with my alarm. Please help.

There is a fuse in the PDC that blows when the switch goes bad.

The tell tale sign is that the running lights are out too.

Replace this mini fuse and you should be good to go

Default Possible Alarm Connection Issue

Thanks for the reply. I tried switching out the fuses in PDC but nothing changed.

I'm thinking this may have something to do with the aftermarket car alarm wiring. The instrument and running lights blink when I lock and unlock the car but that is it.
