Question headlight and AC help

95 cherokee, i6

When i turn on the headlights, my cluster lights and everything else turn on except my headlights. And when i pull back on the turning signal lever to turn on the high beams, they turn on but dont(click) stay on. So i have to hold back on the lever to have headlights at night. Any suggestions on what it can be? The headlight fuse by the battery is good and also the bulbs.

And, my AC would occasionally blow cold for a little or sometimes not at all. should i use a AC coolant recharge can?

Thanks in advance....

X2 what he said and for the Highbeams to stay on you would have to push them forward, pulling back is just to flash the lights..

For me to just flash the highbeams I pull back on the lever slightly, for them to stay on I have to pull it pack all the way and it suppose to click. But its not clicking, so I have to hold it back. Don't know if my jeep is different but I never had to push the lever forward for them to stay on, only back towards me.

My bulbs are not blown, both lights just don't come on.

Two elements in each bulb, low & high.....both low elements could be burned out and the highs still good.

I fixed it. It was the headlight switch.
