Header wrap
Has anyone used one of the header insulating wraps? I just got my header in and was wondering if its something I should do before I install it, I was also thinking about wrapping all the way through the downpipe to the cat to lower my underhood temps a little more. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I asked this same question a while back when I put my APN header on and was told it wasn't necessary. I went ahead and installed it without the wrap and there was no change in operating temperature from before. So I'd go ahead and say it isn't necessary.
What header did you get?

Apn from amazon lol, I don't expect a change in temps from stock to the aftermarket just want to cut them down even if I was to go with the stock one again I'd think about wrapping it but I'm weird like that overkill over underkill.

Not worried about warranties, if it breaks in a year or two I upgrade again something better, just trying to cut temps as much as possible since our exhaust and intake system are all on the same side of the engine bay every little bit helps
