head lights out

Unhappy head lights out

ok so my 95 jeep cherokee head lights just went out the other day and wont come back on.. the bright icon is on and the blinkers are a steady green, no flashing.... all the fuses are good.. the thing is i have no owners manual and no idea what the hell could bewrong with it.. any ideas?

I would start with checking your headlight switch,see if it is burnt. If it is ok check your dimmer switch on the left side of the sterring colum,it has a small round rod that goes to it,so does the ign switch but it is on the right side and bigger.

I am car savy.. i have checked all that and the dimmer works.. the brights and the blinkers will only turn on if i pull the lights on.. just no head lights or running lights in the front.. rear lights are fine..

I have an 89 with the exact same problem. I changed the switch, battery cables, flashers, and all the fuses. Still can't fix the problem. Going nuts trying to figure it out. Also, the hazards don't work, and the right side front and rear flashers don't flash together like the left side.
