Default Head Gasket or Head

Blowing white smoke out of the tail pipe like a crop duster. It happened once before and some Bars Leak stopped the smoke. Held out for a year but no good this time. Could I be lucky and its just the gasket or do the heads tend to crack on these Jeeps?

Might just be the gasket. The 00 and 01 supposedly are more apt to crack. Either way you'll need to remove the head so you might as well have a machine shop check it out to make sure its not cracked or warped.

Ah! Used the old m̶a̶s̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶o̶l̶u̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ stop-whatever-leak products! That might have bought you enough time to trade your vehicle in (thats when its most used, fckn up the next owner).
You wont be able to tell for sure, until you have a look...I would not drive it around until you have this sorted.

Because yours is a 1998 I doubt the head is cracked unless it's been severely overheated.

But using stop leak will gum up the whole coolant system,I would get a new engine.

Only one way to find out. If I were a betting man, I'd say gasket.
How bad is the oil? Hopefully the bearings haven't been marinading in coolant.
