ok strange issue goin on, 90 I6 motor. truck has great power, but ive notices some contaminated oil when i changed the oil today. not a ton but there was some. the plugs looked great when i changed them the other day. it has a consistant low idle issue with a little miss. doesnt overheat or anything. temps here ar cold as **** right now -4 degrees. and it runs really cold all the time. so whaat are the chances of it being a blown head gasket? cold the cld be causing condinsation in the crank case mmaking the contamination?

If you are not loosing coolant then I would not be concerned,it is possible to have some moisture around the oil fill plug or the valve cover but I would not think it should change the apperance of your oil.

in the cold if u only drive short distances and not get then engine up to full temp alot then yes u could be getting condensation in the oil and that will give it a little milky look
could be electrical.. I doubt head gasket otherwise I would act the same all the time.

Hi are the rad hose hard or really soft?
Your running cold because the thermostat has been either removed or has packed up!
Check the lid of the header/coolant tank to see if there are A) bubbles or B) Emulsified oil/water on the under side of the lid.
You can remove all the plugs and disconnect the king lead (one that goes to the coil) then turn the engine over and see if any water pumps out
Have you checked the antifreeze content? Cheep 'turkey' baster type tool that tells you how much protection you have.
