Tried to search but my phone app gave me errors. Sorry if this is a dbl post.

I have a question with my hazard lights.

When I turn on my hazards only the left turn signal blinks. But if I turn them on and then turn on my right blinker then both hazards will flash (this is with and without keys in the ignition)

Do all xj's do this or is mine special and needing a helmet. Lol

 

sounds like your multifunction switch is only capable of single tasking.

It's not a huge deal, I was just thrown off by it lol

 

Goofy things like that are almost always grounds it seems. Once I connected a long wire to my bat neg terminal and went around and found bulb sockets where not grounding. (grounding the socket with that made the lights work)
