Transmission line o-ring?

Transmission line o-ring?
Transmission quick connect at the radiator transmission cooler is leaking. I noticed a slightly torn o-ring in the connector. Has anyone successfully taken these out and matched them up with the black universal ones at the parts store? Did they fit, and stop the leak?
