Is this you? "First off im new here. I have an 89 jeep grand cherokee pioneer with a 4.0 engine and trans swap from a 91 cherokee."

If so, the Forum has a Grand Cherokee Tech subforum that you might try.

Why is that ground wire hanging just around? I bet you it will work if you secure that ground wire tab under that nut on the engine block.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious... And yes its a 4.0 swap from a 91 cherokee. What Im wondering is will this fix my issue with my oil pressure gauge not receiving a reading on pressure? Im guessing the answer is an obvious yes. I just need to find the dang connector.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you circled the connector in red.

Your oil sending unit is already connected... Maybe that's why you can't find another connector for it???

you have 3 things circled in the picture
the sensor
the connector
and the sensor mounting adapter

if the connector is missing, is was probably cut off
junkyard would be your best bet

He thanked me for "pointing out the obvious" then later states that is not his picture (like I knew that, I'm I supposed to be a freakin psychic?). So it's not his picture.
