Default Havent even had it 30 days..

Well this inst how i would have liked to say hi, I was planning on sometime his week saying hi and all that jazz posting some pictures, but me and my little baby have ran into a little problem today..She is puking out coolant like a girl (you know what type of girl Im talking about) on her 21st birthday. needless to say i think its the water pump? But cant really tell because the PO some how go oil/grease/dirt/**** all over the engine bay so when the coolant leaks out I cant really tell at all.. So guys any ideas. before I go pull her apart?

-no over heating (normally runs just under 210, today it ran on, just barely over 210)
-no squealing
-and it drives fine, like nothings even wrong

Oh and I have a misfire on cylinder 1 and 2, any ideas? (i have new pugs/wires/cap and that little thing in the cap haha and they wires are on right and not switched)

Well thanks in advance and hi again

- Zack

Ill post some pictures later of her and all that stuff

Sounds liike a head or head gasket. If you put a coolant pressure tester on itand pressurize the radiator with the sparkplugs removed you can locate the cylinder usually. Sounds like #1 and #2 with the misfire of course.

EDIT: disregard, I thought you implying it was "puking" coolant out of the radiator.

Well looking at it now, I think i might have busted one of the hoses that go into the fuel pump. Cause there's no coolant leaking out of the block anywhere and there's no oil in coolant nor water in the oil. But i just got all everything but the radiator pulled and I'm go grad some lunch and then go back out and start it and try and find the leak.

Okay so i started it up and found where the coolant was dripping from and it looks like its dripping from the bottom of the block, like along the seal line... any ideas? Its really starting to worry me..

I removed the front grill, lights, the thing that says "JEEP" on it, etc

But I'm 99% the underside of my water-pump is leaking, the coolant is traveling down the seal line of the oil pan and dripping off of a lower area in the seal, because i can kinda see it coming out and hitting the pulley below the water-pump..I'll keep you posted haha

If anyone cares; it turns out that the weep hole was leaking and the seal had failed a little.

Sounds like the same problem I had with my water pump. Slight leak due to a bad seal, running down the lower radiator hose. Everytime I turned my car off it just poured coolant.

Yeah it really had me confused for a wile because I couldn't figure out where all of the coolant was coming form..it was dripping from the seal of were the oil pan meets the block. So I was really worried but there was no oil in it so I was confused and then when I had her running I was laying under her and say coolant spraying from the bottom pulley. and i was like WTF? And thats when it all clicked for me and i figured it all out...well give me a little bit and I'll post some pictures for yall

Edit: Ill have to do it later tonight I guess, my dads computer wont open my phones SD card..so I'll have to do it on mine.

Yeah usually small leaks that run down that route is generally that stinking weep hole. Good thing a waterpump is not a major issue on these things.
