Has Anyone had a TPS Code on their Cherokee go on due to a clockspring failure

Has Anyone had a TPS Code on their Cherokee go on due to a clockspring failure
Umm basically i have just got this problem with my TPS car is running like garbage and i read some article saying that a clockspring failure could cause this
anyone? kinda desperate right know school is starting soon and this is my daily driver

never heard of a clockspring causing TPS issues. They are on completely separate systems.
Clean the throttle body and butterfly linkage really well. Get the computer read and post any codes that come up - we'll go from there.

jesus big pictures. Looks like you're missing a tab, but i very much doubt that causes your engine issues

Yes, Same problem here. Just replaced steering box and alternator and got a code for the TPS. Bought new TPS and installed but the code stayed.
I looked around online and saw mention of the clockspring so we tried that.
The airbag light is on and pretty sure clockspring was damaged replacing steering box.
unplugged clockspring and check engine light went out and began running normal.
Picking up new clockspring from dlrshp tomorrow morning...
Although the two systems are unrelated, the clockspring will throw a tps high voltage code P0123...

yea you REALLY need to be careful not to turn the steering wheel with the steering box disconnected. It's really easy to snap a clockspring.
