Default Hardshift

Not really a big problem, just annoying. Anyways, whenever i go from park to reverse on my 96 xj (aw-4) or reverse to drive, it slams it into gear and moves the whole jeep. I have to have my foot firmly on the brake or I'll roll whichever direction it wants to go. Also, just randomly, it will hardhift from 1st to 2nd gear, and 2nd to 3rd. Its never in a pattern just randomly. I recently changed the tranny fluid and filter which helped. Fluid is staying level, but its just annoying. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Maybe its just the massive amount of torque being applied.

Pry normal, but you could check you driveshaft ujoints too, they might be getting sloppy.
