i know i'm on the wrong thread. desperation makes you seek help from all avenues. just have a quick question. a jeep that runs & sounds great all the time while idling and driving without any issues is a blessing. so what would cause my jeep not to crank up after sitting for an hour, regardless of length of drive time? exclude the coil from consideration.

I saw your post on another forum, you should copy the text and post it here. There was a lot of information in that post that should help the experts here.

Your symptoms are similar to "heat soak", but I believe it occurs in later years when they changed the intake manifold. Something to consider though.
