Hi, can anyone tell me how to replace my handbrake mechanism? I'm struggling to remove the centre console at present.

Everything is fairly basic other than the shifter handle if you have an automatic trans. The shifter handle can be removed by placing your hands on each side and just below the handle. Hit the handle from the bottom with some force upward. Be careful not to smack yourself in the face because it may take a couple of hits or it may fly right off. The rest of it including the handbrake handle is a simple process of removing a few screws and bolts.
