Will putting a ferrite core around the coax about 6" from the radio stop all the RF interference?
I know my oil pressure gauge gets wonky when transmitting, but I also noticed my stereo system tonight, the speakers get quieter when I transmit.
I need to hop online and find some ferrite cores.

It will not eliminate it all, there will always be some, but it will almost kill it.

Update:
My problem went away, and I re-did the connection at the end of my coax going into my radio, and now my problem is back.
My oil gauge drops to 0 when I key-up and talk on VHF, but when I talk on UHF, I just turn on my motion sensor lights on my house.
I tried ferrite cores, and re-routing wires and coax, and nothing yet.
Any new ideas?
