I have been doing mad research on the cowl snorkel builds and the hummer style snorkels that people have been doing. I will be attempting my own version of this over the holiday break.

My question is concerning the main hose running through the engine bay. I plan on using the existing airbox and filter system. I was thinking about using either sewer hose used on rv's or some metal ducting?

I would prefer the sewer line as it is flexible and durable. Does anyone know if it will hold up to the heat under the hood?

 

surely you can just contact the mfg. They will surely have specs on the hose. Use good judgement and route it clear of the exhaust system and most anything will work.
