I found out my problem for my xj not starting. Thanks guys. Anyways something else is bothering me. I guess when I was installing new terminals last month I cut the ground cable to short and it makes the battery terminal but barely. I hope someone knows what I am talking about.
It's to the left of the battery.




What kind of replacement do I get for that.

 

the smaller wire just add to it and ground back to the body with a butt connector

 

Would any type of wire work or does it need to be a specific gauge?

 

same gauge as it is no smaller

 

Thanks. Really helped. I bought a new cable from autozone and now my new problem is the old one does not seem to want to loosen out. The bolt is just stuck. It literally just broke my socket wrench. Got any tips?
