Grinding from the rear
I have a constant grindy noise coming from the rear of my 94' XJ as I drive. Not loud and horrible like somethings about to go out just a steady noise like from gears or shaft. Everything is working as it should but just to heard off any future troubles what should I check in order of most likely down? Thanks

First thing i would def do is service the rearend. pull the cover off and check to see if there are any metal shavings in the old oil and see if there is any where on the gears. If it looks good fill her up with some clean oil and check to see if you might have a bent rear drive shaft. but my money is on the rear end.
