42RE twubble.
98 cherokee (recent purchase) Leaves A corner in first, then shifts to 3rd or OD (wherever the shifter is) First scan revealed P0715 (vss), P0751 & P0753 (sol "A" & "B"). Reset codes...CEL lit again with only 751 & 753 codes. Also...the cruise is inop.
I've also changed filter...added lucas...checked connections,TCM,TPS & have been reading for DAYS!
Heading to A recycler on the weekend for $60 ALL I CAN CARRY deal...what would you fill your pockets with?
THANKS

$60 all I can carry? I would get a 75 Caddy hood and load a transmission/t-case and any other thing that catches your eye onto the hood, pay for your newly found junk, err, stuff, then load your truck and return the hood for the next guy.
But really, I think all you need are the solenoids on the valve body in order to fix your problem. I would have a transmission shop check it out first.

The VSS will cause the cruise control not to work, but you have other codes for the solenoids too. Maybe get yourself a valve body while you're there, take advantage of the all you can carry special.
Pride is a good thing, but sometimes it gets in the way.
