Grinding Noise Under XJ
I just bought a 94 cherokee sport last week. Ive been noticing that when I'm out driving the rig and come to a stop there is sort of grinding noise coming from underneath the truck right about where the middle of the cab is. It doesnt seem to damper the engine's performance in any way and the tranny works great so I'm not sure what the noise could be. Any ideas?

I don't think it would be the brakes because I hear the noise after I've stopped the rig. I'll check them anyways just to make sure...I'm gonna upgrade the brakes too just b/c the oem brakes are a little under equipped. So Macky, your saying it's metal grinding against metal? What could it be you think? Anything I should worry about?
