Thanks Pat... back at ya.... figured it was worth keeping in there as it was a royal PITA to find that stupid backing plate was the issue on mine since with wheel off and inspection didn't show it touching the back side of the rotor braking surface.

Thanks! noted. yeah the cheapest (& decent) bearing for the XJ fromt axle is 3 time more expensive than a regular bearing.
set of 2 costs from 140$ up to 300$ depending on the manufacturer.
