Grinding in 4wd

Another update:
It's definitely not the front differential. Took the front axle off and it still makes the noise in 4H and 4L, less in 4L. I think it might be the linkage.
Also, the leak in the transfer case looks like it's only coming from the oil seal on the extension housing. I thought the case was leaking elsewhere because fluid was ALL OVER the place. Cleaned it up and drove around the block and saw the spray pattern.

Try adjusting the linkage first. Just have someone in the Jeep to pull it in 4wd while your under it and see how everything moves around in there. Loosen the bolt have them push in down in 2wd and tighten the bolt. How I did it and never had a prob with it since
