Post Grand to XJ junkyard swap...

Anyone got a list of Grand crap that swaps over to an XJ? I'm itchy to go raiding the local boneyards for xtra stuff to stock up on...

yep i can confirm that the track bar is a good swap from a zj, and upgraded to one with a greasable fitting on the frame side. Cheap $5 upgrade to a worn out unit.

ZJ front D30's are low pinion.

I run a ZJ 4 wheel disc master cylinder and proportioning valve with a 95 XJ dual diaphram booster to supplement my rear disc brakes. Huge improvement.

Some guys are swapping ZJ and WJ seats to their XJ's as well.

Talking

WJ Grands (the style after the ZJ) have boxed front LCAs', and they have a bend in them for tire clearance. The UCAs' are stronger, too.

You can upgrade to 136 amp alternator from a V8 Grand Cherokee

Also if you lift your XJ you can use Wrangler brake hoses front and rear to give you a few extra inches.

I believe it will you must place it in the spot of the AC compressor though and modify a bracket.
