so i have heard that you can use a grand Cherokee fan clutch on the Cherokee and that is is much more heavy duty due to the larger fan on them. is this true? if it is true, then do i use the 4.0 fan clutch or a V8 fan clutch? also what years will work? i have gone through 3 fan clutches already in the past 2 years. my jeep sees alot of high RPM's due to 4.56 and highway driving so i want a new one.

I know the 4L version won't work, it's about an inch taller but not sure about the V8. Like stated above, just get another electric fan and wire it to work all the time.
