You don't need your e-brake, just turn a little and mash it

First, locking up the e-brake and sliding sideways isn't drifting. It's sliding sideways.

Second, no you won't hurt anything as long as you don't slide anything. Go for it.

Lol sounds like fun, wouldn't do it myself though unless it was a pos car and not my dd, the trick with four wheel drive I think is if your in 4wd you pump your gas to straighten out, where in 2wd you pump your break

I really don't think that you really want to do that to much. I did see someone SLIDING his jeep on purpose and it wasn't a pretty site because it did end rolling. I don't know if it rolled because it was top heavy or what but that is what happened to him. If you do try it take some pics when yours turns over, Good luck if you try it.

You guys act like its bad and all, its really easy to drift a jeep like a pro. It isn't completely safe but if you know what your doing and know what's around you than its no problem

I have drifted my Jeep on snow, dirt, gravel, and a few times pavement. With no sway bars. By far the safest way to do it is not at all, I have almost rolled more times than I can count. In snow, go to an open parking lot and do some donuts and drifts, its a good way to learn how to drive on slick crap, just know where the pavement is. Sliding fast from snow onto pavement is an easy way to roll.

Yes! That's what I was saying. On a nice thick layer of snow I'm all for it. Any other time no. I have almost rolled on pavement before.

yes snow drifting is fun...no ebrake unless you initiate the slide then gas which is stupid unless you wanna 180 real quick

What the hell are you talking about? thats just gunna make you lose control....

AWD <- Not 4wd....

anyways, AWD "Drift" (which it is not) control , is to turn into the slide while sliding, and straighten out to get out of it...

And RWD, sliding is to throttle down, you never hit the brakes during a slide... that just equals you into a wall or another curb.... to get out to a RWD you turn where you wanna go (IE If your sliding left, your gunna turn right... countersteer) You throttle into a slide while powersliding. Because i doubt your linking corners...
