I am going to buy a GPS
probably a German or Magellan
but I have herd the tomtoms work very well and show most dirt roads that are one regular maps

what system do you use for off road
and are there good OHV maps available for your system

I use TomTom on my HTC Cellphone and it works very good. I have tried Garmin and others but TT seems more up to date then the rest...Tj

what about off road dose it show most of the trails and dirt roads you run on

Mine does but you have to update it regularly to get all the trails and stuff...Tj

I use my handheld gps for wheeling. It is a Magellan Triton 400. Wal Mart sells an"adventure pack" that includes the gps, map software, and national geographics maps. I have both a garmin nuvi and a tomtom for directions. I prefer the garmin.
