Last night I was driving and turned the headlights on and noticed that I had an instrument panel light out. ('94 Cherokee) The one for the speedometer on the right side, the speedometer was dark by where the 65mph was. I started thinking about what a pain it was going to be to take the dash apart and put in a new lamp and on a whim I reached up and gave the plexiglass over the speedometer a little tap and bingo, the light came on! Loose or dirty connection.

You have to enjoy the little victories in life......

My dad's entire dash has done this for upwards of a hundred grand... he's to the point where any vehicle he gets in he instinctively hits the dash before he puts it in gear
