Default Got my lift in this past Friday.

I ended up going with the 4.5" Rough Country lift with full springs b/c of the budget I was on. A friend of mine Aaron has the 4.5 and seem to have good luck with it. While I was ordering I got the axle guards, quick disconnects, red boots and a new steering stabilizer. Hopefully this Wensday I will start getting it put on. If I dont forget I will take some pics along the way. While I am working on her I went ahead and got a new time chain, valve seals, high volume oil pump, rear main seal and of course Fel Pro Perm gaskets. Wish me luck.

Did you get the rear Brake line also. RC relocation bracket is very poor with there 4.5 lift. but i got a 20in brake line for 33 bucks shipped from them so it is a good deal.

No I actually forgot the brake lines, so I am probably gonna order the braided brake line kit for a 3" lifted TJ. This should give me all the length I need. If I remember right the TJ lines are 3" longer than the XJ's and a direct fit stock. So I figure the lines will be at least 6 inch longer over stock then, please correct me someone if I am wrong.

Try the YJ lines I think they are 8" longer than the XJ.

Also you are going to want to forget about the tracbar relocation bracket that they provide and get yourself an adj tracbar.

But congrats on the lift

Yes I agree on the drop brackets they never work out well. The adjustable bar is a better choice.

I'll back that up as well. I have 2 of those brackets sitting around here somewhere. They're trash. I keep them for paper weights.

Far as I can tell there is no trac bar relocation bracket. They have you drill the factory one out and move it over.

You can do that it still is a much better option to go with an adj tracbar.

Seriously! That's what I tell people to do in a BIND! I can't believe a company would suggest that!

Okay I see that they also make the adj trac bars also. I will give them a call Monday and get it rolling. That way I will have them by the weekend.

Also you said to try YJ lines correct? The stock lines are that much longer or the extended aftermarket lines are?

Would you recommend this one?

Or something different?
