I think the stock ride and 30" is limited to the older body style- the 97+ XJ got a makeover that got rid of a little clearance... Just my thoughts on it. I have a set of 30.5 that I was thinking of putting on stock but haven't gotten around to it in the week I have owned the Jeep. :-)
