Any little 110 welder with flux core is good, just make sure you can get the gas conversion for it too. Some of the bigger name companies even have an attachment for doing aluminum with the things. I prefer welding with gas, but the flux works, esp. for sheet metal.
If you have an air compressor, pick up a air stepper/punch, then you can do sheet metal joints that won't ever fail.

That's a great deal, esp. with the cart and shield included. I forgot who makes the Sears welders for them, but I do know it's a decent company. I'd get it, and then the only thig I would do is to stop at Sears, and pick up more wire. I'd even say spend some extra $$ and pick up 2 spools of 030 and 2 spools of 035 flux core wire, as well as the 035 tips. That is all you'll need to get any sheet metal thing done.

Hobart used to build those Crafstman welders. My Dad had one for years that we used on odds and ends. Great little welder with flux core. My current 110 V welder is a Lincoln and the gas kit is extra. I usually dont have any problems with up to 1/8 in. stuff, although the gas kit does make for a nicer weld. Not a bad deal there at all.
