good riding 3 inch lift
ok well i was going to get a skyjacker 3 inch lift kit installed for $1100. but i really do not want to spend $1000. so i have decided i will install it myself along with the help of a mechanic i know. so my question is which lift kit will ride good along with good offroad abilities. should i stay with the skyjacker or is there another brand that will also ride good? thanks in advance

Get a good name kit, and make sure you get new leaf packs...
If you go the BB route, it gets kinda like a crap-shoot with how it will act, whether they're stiff or not.
and we all know the hot chick is Kate Beckensdale, and you're a communist if you don't think so.

Yeah a good 3 inch kit is pretty simple to find..IMHO the key to a good riding lift is the shocks. You could get the RC 3" kit without the shocks and then guy a nice set of OME shocks and it's going to ride great. You could also get an OME 2" lift, add 1" spacer, 1" lift shackles and OME shocks and it's going to ride great. You could get just about any 3" lift coils and leaf packs and add a shock like OME, Bilstein and such and get a good nice smooth ride.

There are tons of good lift kits out there that ride good and work good off road. Rough Country has the best price out there for a good working and riding lift kit.
