Default Good hub wheel bearing replacement?

Title pretty much says it all - I have a bad wheel bearing in the front right. I did the front left once a few years ago but can't remember the brand I went with.

Any good recommendations or just go with what looks good?

-Thanks

Most will suggest Timken. Can be had on rock auto or even Amazon for real close to the same price as the Chinese made house brands at Autozone, Oreillys and the like.

Timken is made in China now.

Precision, sold by O'Reilly's, has a 3 year warranty I believe.

Most everything is made in China nowadays, it seems.

Might as well just do axle u-joints and unit bearings both sides, save yourself some time & frustration.

As of this summer Timken hubs were stamped Slovakia, same as SKF. They are so similar looking they probably came from the same factory. Both have 3 year warranty. If you need these parts in a hurry, it may be best to buy locally, because they are known to be bad out of the box. Many of the hard wheelers use Timken or SKF as they are the ones that hold up to big tires, etc.

Timken or SKF. Only companies putting out quality worth a damn for these vehicles.

(For reference Timken is the OE, no problem lasting 15 years)

I used Timken. Got them from Idiotzone - three year warranty. They were made in East Jabip, not communist china.
