Not sure of the cost for lift, tires and rims combined but that seems pretty high to me. I bought a stock XJ a couple of years ago with 116,000 for $2850. Seems to me if I wanted to lift it and put 31's on it would be a lot cheaper than what they are asking.

That is way too much. I would pay like $4000 max if it ran perfect like he says. If you bought it you would also have to get rid of the dana 35 and possibly deal with the 0331 head.

No way.
Decent miles, looks clean but there's no way I'd pay that much for an 01 XJ.
99, 4.0, 4wd, less than 100k, super clean, maybe.
I wouldn't give more than 4k for the Jeep you posted.

Yeah thats more like a Stealership price asking that much. Probably putting too much value into the lift and such. I'd say no more than $4000 on a good day.

DAMN!!!!
That is way to much to pay for an XJ. I paid $2800 for my 98 and it only had 87000 miles on it and a $3500 sound system with all of the receipts for it and I got it from a dealer that was originally asking $4000 for it.

I just 900 for one that was well used but only 138000 miles and needed tires, I've been driving it for six months with no problems. I'd never pay anywhere near that much

I only paid $600 for mine just cause the timing is out of whack, granted it ain't near that good of shape as that one though. You could probably find a stock one for a little over $2000 and put $1500-$2000 into and have one just as good as that or better.

Where are you looking? Craigslist is your friend. Don't jump on the first one you see though. It helps a lot if you have a friend that can help you look over whatever jeep you're looking at

Not sure what part of CO you're from be here's a couple. Found mine on Craigslist. You can usually find some decent stuff on there.
