A good deal?
So my buddy is selling his wrangler and he wants to know if I want the 31's off of it. They are 31 x 10.50 x 15 genaral grabber AT's still a decent amount of tread on them. He is selling them with the wheels which are made by eagle alloy and there a soft 8 type pattern.
He wants 500 for all 4 tires with wheels. What do you guys think. I took some pics but there kinda crappy.
Overall
Tread
Back side of rim

yeah i'd say theres a good half inch still on them and the wheels go for around 100 bucks a pop so after i get the jeep out of the shop im gonna take it over to his house and mount a wheel and see how the back spacing looks

Where I live, that's a bit high, too...
If I were you, I'd check local craigslist to do some comparison shopping...and you can use it to leverage your friend, so you can negotiate a fair price for you both!
Remember, every dollar you save can be put into your next XJ improvement project!
Of course, if he's your best friend and he's hurting for $, and you're doing OK, the right thing to do is help him out.

Depending on the amount of tread left I dunno..The wheels new are about $100 a piece and the tires new are about $110 a piece. So that's about $800 new so depending on the over all condition of the tires and wheels it could be a decent price ...but I wouldn't pay more then about $400 at the top end..
