Get ya a Dynomax super turbo! Its like 50 bucks and sounds way better than a Glasspack. I think those things make a 4.0 sound bad!

You want cheap? I posted this on June 28 but got 1 response. $36 for cat back with shipping:

I was just looking at the Jeg's website and ran across a pretty sweet deal. They are selling A DynoMax cat back system for $99 PN 17463 and DynoMax is offering a $75 mail in rebate. So you get a cat back for $24.

I was ready to swap mine so I jumped on this deal. The muffler alone retails over $50.

From DynoMax:
PN 17463
Cat-Back Exhaust System
1986-92 Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Sport Wagon 2.5L/4.0L
Qualifying DynoMax® Performance Exhaust Systems: 17301 - 17495, 19306 - 19450, 39306 - 39450 Series

A pretty good deal if your looking for a cat back system. Figured I would pass this along.

Being that yours is a 97 you will need a different model system then what he listed. Just head over to the Jegs site and you can goto the exhaust area and find what you need easily. You need the 17340 kit.

All you need to do is search on the make model at the top of the page. Before you take my word for it print the Dynomax money back deal and check the PN's (part numbers):

How loud are these glasspacks? i'm deaf but it does ANNOY me to hell when a jeep's exhaust roars when the rig is stuck and it's trying to get out. Is it anything like that? My friend put on a aftermarket exhaust on her TJ and she got stuck in this nasty hole. The exhaust was so freakin loud it gave me, a deaf person, a headache. I think it was a flowmaster.

They have a decent rumble. I didn't have too much trouble with noise if I got stuck unless I pinned the gas and bounced off the rev limiter. I Just straight piped it out the drivers side so I can't post a sound clip for ya. AirCruiser has a nice glasspack vid on youtube
