on going rough idle
With my ongoing battle to figure out my rough idle (almost intermittent missing),
after doing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, both o2 sensors (ntk), cleaned IAC, new tps, changed injectors, checked and cleaned and sanded all ground connections, checked for vacuum leaks.
I should go on to say that this stumble or miss at idle is also present when holding 1500, 2000 rpm as well.
Just wondering could a worn distributor be the problem, as there is some side to side play in the distributor shaft.
97 XJ 5spd 4.0 litre. no codes coming up.

Hey did as you suggested, here are the numbers
6 5 4 3 2 1
135 140 132 135 140 145
this was done with the engine at operating temp. Dry
Also noticed that all the plugs were quite carboned up on the the end of the threads, the ceramic was white.
