on going electrical issue

still a battle to be won but now its down to my alternator. got it checked @ napa and it failed!!!! but when took to the alternator guy to get it rebuilt he tested it and it was just fine! gave everything a good look over and he said its in great shape dont see why it would fail. grrr so now he told me to check out the power and ground wires that were running to it cause he sees it usually being the culprit on most vehicles. well now my question is how many volts should i be running around there?? i dont know the wires names exactly so sorry if this post is a hit and miss

sweeeeeet! ya i bet thats what napa did. he offerd me a deal on a new alternator also.. it was pretty hilarious if you ask me

My dad had an problem with his alt. had it tested on the jeep and off it passed. I had it tested when it was acting up it failed. So we changed it out and the problem is fixed

i see well if i had the money i'd just replace it but since im kinda tight with money atm im trying to swing by without trying to buy new one
