Will going to 2.5 on the exhaust piping, (or bigger), make your Flowmaster any louder? Will there be any power gain?

Going to 2.5 your exhaust will not be noticeably louder. There may be a very minimal power gain, but also un noticeable.

any larger than 2.5 will move any power gains up in the rpm band, also reducing some low end torque
