Getting to switches without breaking
I have a 97 Cherokee and have been running into the window/locking issues. I have tried to remove the door panel to get to the switches but it feels like I am about to break all the plastic pieces.
I have searched the forum for a write up on how to get to the switches. Is there one out there? I want to try to clean them or just replace them.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

So you unscrew the armrest, handle, pull the lower door panel so the clips come out and lift up to get the panel off?
Is there a way to get to the switches/armrest off without removing the door panel?
Thanks to everyone for their replies.

I think the 97+ door panels have tabs that slip into slots in the door instead of the plastic christmas tree clips. But if the door panel does not come off with some gentle upward tugs then you may have the clips holding it in place.
