If you want to wait then wait for one with the HO motor. Otherwise if you cant wait (like me) then get the 90 I drive an 89. I really dont think i would see that much difference with 17 HP.

well if im not mistaken the 90's have a renix motor in them. wich at the time they were way ahead of thier time and are great but as technology evolved theyre not ahead anymore. thats the only major diffrence besides the grille and lights and just simple stuff like that. they have a newer body style that alot of people like and i think thier 97 and newer.

91' was the last year for the renix motor and the first year for the H.O.. If the 91' has the H.0. I would deffinitly get it. The renix is just as reliable it just has a crappy cooling system and like 15-20hp less than the High output(H.O.). If its not an H.O, I personally would still get it, depends on price and condition.

I enjoy my renix machine. She can jump train tracks and get up to 60 mph pretty quick lol.

Get the 90 you cant go wrong. Check and make sure its good mechanically and check for rust in the floorpans!!! Whats the price? I paid $400 for mine and invested $1000. So $1400 total and it has everything and it all works.

Awesome rig..I have a 90 2 door...It's a love/hate relationship....I love my jeep, but I think it hates me most of the time....LOL. What I like about it is, that it's easy to fix and upgrade (although, most of the upgrades for this year are more expensive than most), but worth it. I use mine as a daily driver (dd) and work vehicle....Mine has limited slip differentials and the only time I've EVER had to put it in 4h is when it snowed...which I see you might get a little bit of...and it worked fantastic. Even on ice, it didn't slip (in 4h). I can't say enough about it...My wife gets upset whenever I work on my rig...She thinks I spend too much time with it and she asks me why I spend more time on my jeep than with her (which isn't true, but you know how women are). I told her that when she (my wife) breaks or is as old as my heep (misspelled on purpose), I'll spend just as much time trying to fix her...LOL. Good luck and happy wheeling.

Nice!!! A Limited edition...

You get leather seats and all the interior goodies.

Plus probably the greatest part of a Jeep used for mixed condition snowy roads...The NP 242 transfer case with the Full-time setting.
