if you have a 5 speed, i would go with 4.10. but if you plan on ever going to 35's or want the more pulling power on and especially offroad, then the 4.56 is the better choice. 4.10 for fuel economy, but 4.56 for all out power, acceleration, offroad ability, and ease of upgrading to 35's if you want

If you are running a manual with those tires and that lift kit then 4.10's should be good. If you have an auto then 4.56's are what you should look at. I am running a 3.5 with 31's on a manual and have plenty of power with 3.73's. If I was running a auto then I would have gone with higher gears.

He is going to be running a 6.5 inch lift with 33 or 35 inch tires. What makes you think he is looking for mileage? That is one of the strangest statements I've read on here, and why would you think that the auto would get better mileage running 4.56s and not the manual. Sorry, it makes no sense.

If it already has 4.10s try them first, just disconnect the front drive shaft after you install the 8.8, and see how it works with the lift and the 33 or 35 inch tires. If it works good change the front ring and pinion to match hook up the drive shaft and you are good to go, if not change both diffs to 4.56 install the shafts and you are good to go. That way YOU will know exactly what to is going to be like on your Jeep. Good Luck
