Well I was wondering what would be a good gear to run. I use my jeep mostly in the winter as dd and wheel it in the summer. I'm running 32" tires I would like to step up to a 35. Any input is appreciated!

yukon and superior make a great gear. stay away from genuine and motive. they are the number one gear we get into the shop with issues. 4.56 or 4.88. If you are running 35's I would be leaning toward 4.88

35 / 28.29 = 1.2372 X 3.55 = 4.39:1 gears
Those gear ratios with those diameter tires get you back to the factory equivalent mechanical leverage of stock 225/75/15 tires (28.29" diameter) and stock 3.55 gears. Going higher numerically gives more leverage (power) as going lower gives less.

Wait until you get your Jeep where yhou want it.(lift,tires). Then do your gears. If you want to run 35's , go with 4.56's. Nice set-up. X2 on the Yukon gears.
I've got 4.11s and have run 33's. It wasn't as sluggish as I expected, and is real peppy when I'm running the 31's. Most suggest 4.56 or 4.88's as already stated. It really boils down to what your gonan be doing with the truck.
If its just a DD like you said, you may wanna run the 4.56's as you'll get better gas mileage, not to mention in winter you shouldn't be trying to race anywhere.

I agree with all these responses. My 90XJ has 4:11 w. 33's. My TJ has 4:88's w 37's and my 2000 XJ has 4:56 w. 35's...
Reason for my post is this. I caution against 4:88's in a dana 30. The pinion is so dinky that you'll bust rings. Trust me. I've popped like 5. And it SUX trying to get one home with 4 teeth missing off the ring. Can't even tow it...
