I have a '97 Cherokee sport, and when I start it, none of the gauges work, including the odometer. The stereo and dome lights don't work either. However, the dash lights, the seat belt, low gas, check engine and other various lights work fine. I checked the fuses and the f16 fuse under the hood had blown. I replaced it, but it was almost instantly blown again. I've looked into it, and some people are saying that it might have something to do with the ignition switch, but I replaced it a couple months ago so I doubt that's the problem. If anyone has any ideas what might be wrong with it, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

When ever you keep blowing fuses that means you have a short in the system. You are going to have to get a elect meter and start test the whole system that the fuse keeps blowing is for.
