92 XJ 4.0 5 spd.
Full gauges stock.
After replacing my Battery with a nice 1000 amp model. I have noticed that my Alt gauge reads steady at 14 on start and driving for a few minutes. Then longer I drive it very slowly gradually creeps left of center
near >13 volts.
Though She starts right up if I shut down for a few minutes.
Also oil press gauge reads at 60+ lbs when idling and goes down slightly when accelerating. Oil is full and not old.
Kinda odd since it should be the reverse of what it's doing!
Any Ideas ?

Take a multi meter to the battery after it goes down and het q real reading. Mine does that but at the bat I get 14.4.... I want to blame old hot wiring.
