Gauge question

Gauge question
I have a 1990 xj. I am in the process of installing mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauges. I am not sure were to install the probe for the water temp and was hoping someone on here has done it. As for the oil pressure gauge i think i can remove the electric probe (rite above the oil filter) and screw in the hose for the mechanical one. Any help would be great!
