Gas tank swap.
Has anyone done or heard of swapping out gas tank and senders from say a 99 xj or zj into a 90? i have a filler issue that i think is tank related

If youre swapping senders, you would need the tank to go with it as they are two completely different setups. The 97+ are a returnless fuel system so theres that. I dont think the gauges read the same between 90 to 99 either, nor wired quite the same, so you would need a way around that as well. Im sure its possible, but its not a direct swap. Youre better off finding another 90 to pull from. Not sure, but i think you need an 87 or something to, i think 95??? Not sure.
