Default Gas tank leaking

I have a 90 limited when I fill the tank it leaks untill about 3/4 full. The tank is little rusty on the sides so Im thinking a rust hole towords the top of tank, how hard is it to drop the tank?

Could be the fuel pump seal leaking, you don't have to drop the tank for that. But to remove the tank all you have to do is remove the skid plate and hitch if you have them, and then loosen the long J bolts that secure the straps that hold the tank.

I looked under it when it was leaking ,it's not the seal it's coming down from on top of the tank, I'll have to drop it to see as soon as I run the gas down. Thanks for the info.
